The Books that Changed My Life

I’m asked often about the books that mean most to me. I’ll tell you there are a number of them — each so different — and so it’s hard to whittle down to favorites. (I’ve got the overflowing bookshelves to prove it!) And yet, there is that handful I turn to again and again for guidance and inspiration, on topics ranging from spirituality and sobriety to writing and parenting, not to mention just good living.

So here it is, in no particular order, my list of recommended reading.

This hasn’t been released yet, but a woman whose teaching and writing I greatly admire has written her first book and I am pretty damn sure it’s gonna wind up on this list, too.
